If you've been following me on Instagram, you might have seen me painting these cute little christmas bookmarks! These would make great extra personalised gifts ~ especially if you're planning to gift a book to someone special this holiday season.
If you fancy having a go yourself, just click on the PDF file at the bottom this post to download the outline drawings. Trace them onto some watercolour paper, then decorate them using any colours of your choice ~ don't forget you can add some gold gouache or other metallics! To start I used a permanent fine line black pen to create the outlines. Once the drawing is complete you might like to add your own details or why not go the whole hog and create your own design! Once done you can hole punch the top and add a piece of ribbon ~ don't forget to add a seasonal message on the back!
