Online Watercolour School

Are you ready to start your watercolour journey?

Online classes are becoming increasingly popular as they can be a better fit with our busy lifestyles. The beauty of the Online Watercolour School is that classes fit around you. You can do as little or as much as you like, as you have on demand access to all videos & worksheets, past and present (whilst your subscription is valid). Classes atTracey Bengeyfield Art's Online Watecolour School are aimed at those wishing to learn how to paint using the beautiful medium of watercolour or for those who have some previous experience and are looking to improve their technique and find new inspiration through studying a varied subject matter.

This class is for you if you:

Are a beginner or intermediate painter

Online classes are great if you have a busy schedule and are unable to commit to a weekly class
Want more flexibility to paint when you want and at your own pace
Want flexibility of how much you spend (prices vary according to which subscription you select)
Enjoy a structured way of learning
Want the ability to pick and choose which subjects you want to paint
Want the ability to paint in the comfort of your own home
Have the time to watch the online videos at your leisure
Want the ability to keep up with classes ~ even from abroad
Want the choice to draw your composition freehand (or to skip this part and use the line drawing provided which can be scaled up to your preferred size)

Lessons are theme based and each one includes a photo resource, a PDF line drawing (should you need it), a copy of the finished painting, a step-by-step worksheet and the real time videos. During your subscription period, you will have access to all of the projects. This means you will have the opportunity to experiment with different styles and methods of painting which will build your confidence and give you a wide knowledge of techniques.

With my Online Watercolour School you don’t need to worry if you find drawing a challenge. Can’t draw or just want to get on and paint? No worries! All online classes come with a simple line drawing which you can download and resize, ready to trace onto your watercolour paper.

However, if you enjoy drawing or would like to improve your drawing, I would recommend that you try drawing your composition freehand rather than tracing. Being able to sketch and draw will be a real asset to your creative journey. It will enhance your observation skills and allow you to really get to know your subject ~ this will make painting it easier.

Tracey says, 'Perfect if you’re a free spirit and want to do what you want, when you want and if you want!'
Students need to purchase their own equipment. Take a look at the equipment list for more details. A good place to start is the SAA an online art supplier and all round champion of all things creative.

If you don’t think you have the discipline to get down to painting with the online school, if you’re local, why not see if there are spaces at my weekly classes. Take a look at the Venue or Get in touch using the button.
