Art Exhibition

Do you find looking at art inspirational? Do you like chatting to artists? If so ~ pop down to the Caterham Art Group Summer Exhibition which starts this Friday and runs throughout the weekend.

You will find lots of lovely art to wander through - from paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels through to sculpture and mixed media pieces. And if your looking to find a piece of art for yourself or as a gift there will be work for sale to suit all budgets in all styles - lots of the artists also have cards for sale so if you discover your new favourite artist you can take a little piece of their art home with you!

Entry to the exhibition is free and whilst there you can watch live art demonstrations, listen to live music whilst enjoying a nice cuppa and some homemade cake! You might even like to find out more about the group and what activities and art demonstrations we have planned for the future.

Don’t forget, if you discover an artist or piece of work you want to know more about just chat to one of the stewards or the CAG team - most artists are local ~ so you might even find them at the venue helping out ~ so you can chat to them in person!

I've got some watercolours in the exhibition you might like to check out - including the largest piece i've painted to date! If you fancy popping by to say hello to me, or to find out about watercolour classes, - I will be stewarding on the Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm - it would be great to see you there!
