I just thought I would let members of my Online Watercolour School know that I will be exhibiting some of my paintings alongside a number of local artists at the annual Caterham Art Group exhibition this weekend.
I know lots of my lovely members are quite local, so if you happen to be in Caterham over the weekend or if you're at a loose end and fancy browsing beautiful artwork, then do feel free to pop along to:
United Reformed Church, Harestone Hill, Caterham, CR3 6SX.
Friday 1st August ~ 2pm - 5pm
Saturday 2nd August ~ 10am - 5pm
Sunday 3rd August 11am - 4pm
The exhibition is free to enter and there is a raffle, live classical guitar music, live art demonstrations plus tea, coffee and cake available ~ what a civilized way to spend an hour or so!

If there's a lonely piece of wall in your home that needs a little lift or you have been looking for a unique gift to celebrate a birthday/anniversary (or even a gift to yourself!), much of the work will be for sale ~ with price tags to suit every pocket. Alongside the main exhibition, there are some 'mini' paintings available at very reasonable prices, plus unframed prints & originals in the browsers, and to top it off ~ lots and lots of cards where you can support your favourite artist at a fraction of the price!
But don't worry, there are no hard sales techniques ~ you can browse at your leisure and just enjoy the wonderful array of work!
Many of the exhibiting artists will be stewarding over the weekend ~ so this is a great opportunity to chat to local artists and find out more about their art and techniques. This friendly and welcoming group will be exhibiting a range of different media including oils, acrylic, watercolour, sculpture and pyrography ~ there really is something for everyone! So if you've been thinking about starting a new hobby, this is a fab way to explore some ideas and get some advice.

If watercolour is your thing and you would like to pop along and have a chat with me, I will be stewarding at the following times:
Saturday 10am-12.30pm ~ You will find me on the raffle
Sunday 1.30pm-4pm ~ You will find me demonstrating watercolour painting
It would be so lovely to see you!
If you are unable to come ~ but you know someone who might be interested in visiting us please do let them know. Any support will be greatly appreciated!
