In this blog post you will hopefully find the answers and solutions to any queries or problems you might encounter whilst using this site. I will endeavour to keep this page updated with any changes which might help to improve your site experience.
Why can't I find the watercolour tutorials?
There may be several reasons why you can't see the tutorials. Here's a few things you can try:
Make sure you are logged in ~ this should be with the same information you used when you first became a member of the site.
You might be looking in the wrong place! Click on the following link to see where to find your tutorials
Why is my video not playing properly?
This can be a hard question to answer as it might be related to a number of factors.
A PC/Laptop with a physical connection to the internet is ideal.
If using a tablet, ensure that you have enough available memory (closing other open applications may help to improve this situation)
Videos are streamed at 720p ~ recommended minimum bandwidth is 3Mbps (but the higher the better).
Check if there is a local issue on your end ~ try the following:
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Update your browser to the latest version.
Try to recreate the issue on different browsers and see if it still happens.
Disable all of your browser add-ons (extensions and plugins) for the duration of the troubleshoot.
Try a different computer.
Try a different internet connection.
Please note: when you play a video on the site, the quality may be lower for the first 5-10 seconds, in order to determine whether their internet connection is fast enough to display higher quality videos.
If you continue to have an issue please click this link which takes you to the WIX platform

How do I cancel my rolling subscription (applies to monthly and annual subscriptions only)?
I understand that sometimes things just don't work out and circumstances change. So if you need to cancel your rolling subscription here's what you need to know:
Make sure you are logged in
Go to your account profile (press your photo icon)
Go to 'My Subscriptions'
Click on your current subscription plan
Click on 'Cancel Subscription'
If using a tablet or mobile phone you might need to press the '+' button (to the left or your profile image) to reveal the drop down menu.
Note: rolling subscriptions should be cancelled before your next due renewal date so a further charge is not incurred. Please feel free to cancel the direct debit with your bank if desired.

What are 'White Nights paints?
White Nights is a Russian brand of paint which I have been used for over 12 years ~ they are whole pans and are semi-wet so they are really easy to use and activiate with water. They have beautiful rich deep colour and are artist quality. Unfortunately with the current climate, imports of Russian goods to the UK (including these paints) are scarce. I am advising students that there are plenty of good alternatives and over the forthcoming months I will slowly transition my paints across to a brand which is more readily available. The nearest equivalent brand is 'Rosa Gallery' and they are a Ukrainian band which have a very similar quality, size and colour range.
Try the SAA here https://www.cassart.co.uk/rosa-classic-watercolour-turquoise-metal-case-full-pan-assorted-colours-set-of-21/
Try Bromleys here https://www.artsupplies.co.uk/p/rosa-gallery-watercolour-paint
Try Jackson's here https://www.jacksonsart.com/rosa-watercolour-paint
Remember you don't have to use the same brand as me ~ there are alternative colour suggestions on the back of every worksheet to help you achieve a similar colour using your own paints
