Hello everyone. First I must say how much I am enjoying Tracey's classes on Wednesday mornings, as is Rena Guest and as a newcomer to this type of contact, I will try to make it short and sweet. The following is art related so please read on ....

You may have heard of The National Brain Appeal, a charity funding advances in neurology and neurosurgery. Funds are raised each year by inviting artists, illustrators and designers to donate paintings under the heading "A Letter in Mind" each year with a theme. This year it is "A Sense of Movement" with the donated, original paintings being on or in an envelope of any size up to A4. The artworks are sold anonymously online and priced at £85.00 each. Last year one of my paintings was donated and, much to my surprise and pleasure, sold !! Couldn't believe it.

Last but not least, this is not a competition. I hope some of you may decide to take the plunge.
